It's Something Borrowed for Monkey Challenge #5

I'm so honored to have been chosen as a guest designer for this week's A La Card Monkey challenge.  This week is about using something borrowed so I borrowed this idea from my Mom.  We both bought this Card, Square Flip-its from Sizzix and spend many hours trying to figure out just how to make it work.  It's a great concept, but you have to use tape over the scored area as a shim.  Otherwise it cuts the card in half.

I also used a stamp set from Clear Art Stamps and some American Crafts Paper.  Of course, I did pull out the Copics to color the little boy.  I just think he's so cute!

We hope that you will join the A La Card Monkey Challenge this week!  Please be sure to visit the other DT Members to see their wonderful creations!

  3. I know why it did not show my comment, You have the comment verification turned on. GO to "settings" then "comments" to turn it off, so that you can get more comments. My laptop that I use everyday can't do the word verification for some reason, but I am using my husbands computer today.

    1. Thanks Shirley. I took care of it and posted for this week. I came home Friday and you guys hadn't posted the challenge yet and then I forgot. I'm so sorry. Thanks for asking me to be a guest designer.
